Our Activities
Our feminist perspective sees prostitution as one of the most extreme expressions of inequality between men and women. Our mission is to enable women seeking to exit a life of sex-work and abuse to acquire professional skills and secure stable employment. It is a long, difficult and complex process, which demands overall changes and systematic solutions. We operate in numerous ways to achieve our vision. We believe that every woman deserves the opportunity to earn a dignified wage, acquire a profession and build a new life for herself.

Students About Her Academy
“The course reminded me that I have talents and gave me a sense of self-esteem. I didn’t get many opportunities in my life and the course gave me confidence. When I was young I always wanted to study fashion design, had my circumstance been different, I might have been able to achieve that dream.
The rehabilitation hostel doesn’t provide vocational courses. When you came and told us about the course at Her Academy, I felt that this is exactly what I wanted to do. It was very exciting to come and meet you. I met nice people in the course. I enjoyed the teacher’s approach, I felt like they care about me. They see me and believe I can succeed.”
